The 1/2″ Stainless Steel Weldless Bulkhead is a professional-grade hardware component for converting standard stock pots into ported brew kettles or mash tuns. Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, it provides a 100% flavor-neutral path for wort and water. The weldless design allows for a tool-secure installation without the need for specialized welding equipment. Precision-machined for a direct-fit with 1/2″ NPT valves, thermometers, or hose barbs, it includes heavy-duty food-grade silicone seals for a 100% leak-proof experience.
Brewery Installation Note: This bulkhead requires a 7/8″ hole in your kettle wall, easily made with a step-drill bit. Ensure the silicone gaskets are seated perfectly on both sides of the wall before tightening. Use high-quality PTFE tape on all NPT threads to ensures a gas-tight and liquid-tight seal. The 304SS construction is safe for boiling wort and all standard brewery sanitizers.
