Description
The classic dual-sided bartender’s jigger. 1 oz on one end, 2 oz on the other, stainless steel construction with a rolled edge that pours without dripping down the side. This is the standard measure behind 90% of cocktail recipes (1 oz for citrus and modifiers, 2 oz for spirits in stirred drinks) and the size that lets a bartender hit consistent pours without thinking.
Bartender’s Tip: The rolled edge matters more than people realize. It breaks the surface tension of the spirit as it pours and prevents the slow drip that wastes a quarter-pour over a busy shift. Hold the jigger horizontally at eye level when pouring fast-flow spirits (gin, vodka, white rum) and at a slight tilt for thick liqueurs (cream, syrup, crème de menthe) to read the meniscus correctly. Wash with hot water only. Soap residue on the inside of a jigger throws off taste on the next pour.
