Bev-Seal Ultra® Series 172 is the industry-standard high-performance barrier tubing designed for professional draught systems and soda fountains. This 100-foot coil features a dual-barrier coextruded polyolefin construction with a specialized Glas-Flex™ liner. This unique internal surface provides unsurpassed oxygen and flavor protection, ensuring that pungent syrups or craft beers do not leach into the tubing. The ultra-smooth liner allows for rapid “flavor change-overs” with a simple water flush, significantly reducing the downtime and chemical usage typically required to purge stubborn beverage profiles.

Technician’s Note: Bev-Seal Ultra is significantly more rigid than standard vinyl (PVC) tubing due to its high-performance barrier layers. When routing this line through trunk housings or tight towers, avoid sharp bends that could kink the Glas-Flex™ liner. To ensure a leak-proof seal on 3/8″ barbs, we recommend warming the end of the tube in a cup of hot (not boiling) water for 10–15 seconds before pressing it onto the fitting. This softens the polyolefin jacket just enough to allow the 17.0mm Oetiker clamp to create a perfect 360-degree mechanical bond.
