This 24-inch Stainless Steel Thermowell provides a sanitary, immersion-depth solution for temperature monitoring in large fermenters and bright tanks. It features a 1.5″ Tri-Clamp cap with an integrated compression fitting, allowing the 24″ probe housing to be dropped into the tank while maintaining a pressure-tight, sanitary seal. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, it is compatible with most standard digital temperature probes.
Sanitary Pro-Tip: Before every use, ensure the internal bore of the thermowell is dry to prevent probe corrosion. Because this uses a compression fitting on the cap, you can adjust the depth of the thermowell to sit exactly in the middle of your liquid volume, ensuring you capture core fermentation temps rather than surface temps.
