The 3/8″ x 30″ Racking Cane Siphon Kit is an essential tool for the sanitary transfer of beer, wine, or cider from your fermenter to a secondary vessel or bottling bucket. Featuring a 30-inch rigid acrylic cane, it is long enough to reach the bottom of standard 5 and 6-gallon carboys. The kit includes 5 feet of food-grade vinyl hosing, providing ample length for gravity-fed transfers. The specialized tip design minimizes the intake of sediment (trub), ensuring a clear finished product.
Brewery Pro-Tip: To start the siphon, sanitize the entire assembly and use a small amount of liquid to prime the line or use an Auto-Siphon (sold separately). Ensure the destination vessel is lower than the source. The 3/8″ diameter provides a controlled flow rate that minimizes aeration, preserving the fresh flavor and aroma of your beverage during transfer.
