Unlike plastic, glass does not scratch, ensuring a sanitary environment for multiple fermentations without the risk of bacterial infections.
Brewery Tip: Glass provides no protection against UV light; store your carboy in a dark area or use a carboy cover to prevents “light-struck” off-flavors in hoppy beers. Always use a harness or carboy carrier for safe transport. To clean, soak in warm PBW for 30 minutes and use a soft-bristle carboy brush to protects the mirror-smooth internal surface. Compatible with #6.5 or #7 rubber stoppers.
