This 5 lb Aluminum CO2 Tank is the most popular choice for home kegerators and small-scale draught systems. Constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy, it is significantly lighter than steel tanks and naturally resistant to rust—making it ideal for use in moist kegerators. The tank comes with a standard CGA320 valve and is shipped empty per DOT regulations. Holds enough CO2 to carbonate and dispense 6-8 full five-gallon kegs.
Safety & Compliance Note: This tank is US DOT and TC certified and features a fresh hydro-test date. When getting the tank filled, always ensure the technician uses a new nylon washer at the regulator connection. Never transport or store CO2 tanks in a horizontal position.
