It includes a Duotight Ball Lock Quick Disconnect (QD), enabling a 100% tool-free connection to your fermenter’s gas post. By regulating the internal pressure during fermentation, you can naturally carbonate your beer, reduce ester production, and perform oxygen-free transfers to kegs.

Brewery Setup Tip: Use the integrated 0-23 PSI gauge to set your desired fermentation pressure (typically 10-15 PSI for ales). The Duotight connection works best with 8mm OD tubing. For the most accurate performance, ensuring the valve is clean and free of krausen—always use a Blow-Off reservoir if you anticipate a vigorous fermentation to prevents liquid from entering the spunding valve internals.
