Briess Munich CBW® LME is a pure malt extract produced from a 50/50 blend of Briess Munich Malt and Briess 2-Row Base Malt. It provides a rich, malty flavor and a deep golden to amber color, making it the perfect base for Munich Helles, Oktoberfest, or any beer style where you want to emphasize a bready, honey-like malt character. It is fully fermentable and significantly reduces the complexity of brewing malty German-style ales.
Brewery Tip: To avoid bottom-scorching, turn off the heat on your kettle before pouring in the LME. Use a sanitized spoon to scrape every bit of extract from the canister—rinsing the canister with warm wort is a great way to ensure you capture all the sugars for your target gravity.
