The 5/16-inch internal diameter allows for high-volume flow with minimal resistance, making it ideal for racking from fermenters to kegs. Made from clear, food-grade PVC, it is BPA-free and provides high visibility for monitoring flow and sanitation. Transfer Pro-Tip: For a leak-proof connection to 5/16″ or 3/8″ barbs, soak the ends of the tubing in hot water for 30 seconds before installation; this makes the vinyl more pliable and ensures a tight fit once it cools. Always secure with stainless steel worm-gear or Oetiker clamps. Note: This tubing is not rated for high-heat (boiling) liquids.
