The LogiCO2 O2 Mk9 Sensor Kit is a life-safety critical instrument designed for environments where nitrogen or other inert gases are used, such as breweries, labs, and cold storage. This kit features a high-precision optical oxygen sensor that monitors O2 levels in real-time. If oxygen drops below the 19.5% safety threshold, the system activates a high-decibel horn and a high-visibility strobe. Unlike standard electrochemical sensors, the optical technology provides long-term stability and requires significantly less frequent calibration.
Safety & Installation Note: Mount the sensor at “breathing zone” height (approx. 5 feet) in any room where inert gas could potentially displace oxygen. Test the horn and strobe weekly to ensures operational readiness. This kit provides essential compliance with OSHA and local safety codes for gas storage areas. The optical sensor has a typical lifespan of 5+ years.
