The SHURflo 166-296-07 is a high-performance, gas-driven diaphragm pump engineered for the reliable delivery of Bag-in-Box (BIB) syrups, juices, teas, and wines. Powered by CO2, Nitrogen, or clean compressed air, this pump ensures a consistent flow to post-mix dispenser valves even in high-volume environments. Featuring a 3/8″ stainless steel barb outlet for maximum durability and sanitation, the 166-296-07 includes an integrated “auto sold-out” vacuum switch that automatically stops the pump when the bag is empty and restarts immediately upon connection of a fresh BIB.

Technician’s Note: This SHURflo model is highly valued for its “high-suction” capability, allowing the syrup rack to be located further from the dispenser than standard pumps. If the pump begins “short-cycling” (rapidly clicking without moving fluid), check the CO2 supply pressure; if the pressure is too low, the internal diaphragm cannot complete a full stroke. For optimal performance with 3/8″ ID tubing, use 15.7mm Oetiker clamps on the stainless steel outlet to ensure a permanent, leak-proof seal under peak pressure.
