Technician’s Note: When installing a 60″ hose, the restraining cable is your primary protection against gas leaks. Anchor the cable to a wall stud and ensure it is shorter than the hose itself. Always perform a pressure drop test to confirm your appliance is receiving the required BTU volume, especially at this longer length.
