White sharpening stone (Globe # 214-1) made in Germany for stainless steel blades of Globe slicers 75, 150, 260, 285, 300, 400, 500, 500L, 610, 660, 685, 710, 715, 720, 725, 725L, 760, 765, 770, 775, 775L, 810, 815, 820, 825, 850LR, 875, 875RL, 2500, 2700, 3500, 3600, 3750, 3850, 3875V, 3975, 4500, 4600, 4750, 4850, 4875, 4975 and all “L” models.
Proper knife sharpening is critical to slicer performance and should be done sparingly. Apply each stone for just a few seconds to restore a fine edge. Over-sharpening will burn the blade and the edge will be lost. Both stones (sharpening and truing) should be changed when a new blade is installed.
