Description
The Lancer Sensation Ice Chute Assembly (82-7717-SP) is the mechanical delivery system for the dispenser’s ice bin. This complete assembly includes the internal chute, the hinged door, and the mounting flange. It is engineered to provide a smooth, low-friction path for cube ice while maintaining a tight thermal seal when closed.
Symptoms of Failure: If ice is sticking in the chute, or if you see a constant drip from the ice opening, the door seal or the plastic chute itself is likely cracked or warped. A failing chute allows warm air to enter the bin, causing ice ‘clumping’ and making the agitator motor work harder than it should.
Technician’s Note: When replacing, clean the mating surface of the ice bin thoroughly. Any old sealant or calcium buildup will prevent the new chute from sealing, leading to condensation leaks behind the splash plate.Technical Specifications:
