Description
SafBrew™ HA-18 is a powerful All-In-One yeast and enzyme blend designed for the production of very high-gravity and very dry beers. It is the perfect choice for Belgian Strong Ales, Barleywines, and Imperial Stouts where you need to push alcohol levels up to 18% ABV. The integrated enzyme (glucoamylase) breaks down complex dextrins into fermentable sugars, allowing the yeast to achieve near-total attenuation for a clean, dry finish.
Commercial Brewing Tip: This yeast/enzyme blend is exceptionally aggressive. For best results, maintain a fermentation temperature between 77°F and 95°F (25-35°C). Rehydrate the 500g brick in 5 liters of sterile water or wort at 80°F before pitching to ensure the highest viable cell count for high-gravity environments.
